About
穆特勒布山（轉寫泰雅語：b'bu' Mutorop（霞喀羅群）），又稱雲達卡山（亦寫為雲塔戞山，轉寫Yuntaga（溪頭群匹亞南））、素密達（亦寫為西米他、詩美塔，轉寫Smta'（匹亞南與志佳陽群）；Hapanorau（志佳陽群）），是台灣雪山山脈主脊聖稜線上著名的山峰，標高3622公尺，名列百廿岳，位於雪霸國家公園內，臺中市和平區平等里與苗栗縣泰安鄉梅園村之交界。穆特勒布山位在聖稜線中段上，山形一面陡峭尖聳、岩層崩崖絕壁、崢嶸險峻，另一面森林青翠峻美，號稱「聖稜線的招牌」，邢天正選列為九嶂之首。 素密達（日治時記為シミタ，Shimita，轉寫泰雅語：Smta'）原本固定指稱穆特勒布山，素密達斷崖原本是指整個穆特勒布山北壁、主脊東西陡峭斷稜等處的險峻崩崖絕壁；戰後登山界演變為以素密達山指稱東側主脊斷稜陡降的岩脊中間，斷崖拔高的尖突小岩峰，海拔3501公尺，名列百五十岳，素密達斷崖演變為特指現今聖稜線大眾登山步道途經素密達山南壁的三四十公尺高陡峭落差。
